Marklin passenger Station Early 1900's

How much does on of these go for?  Well this particular eBay auction closed at $2442.99 on 26 September 2010 and the reserve was not met.

Hand painted Marklin station in nice original condition. This model, we were told, was made beginning in 1902 but we are not sure of the date of this particular station but it should be around that date. Colors are very nice, and vivid. It is meant to take candles for lighting. The station measures about 27 cm side to sside by about 13 front to back by 24 cm high. Medium sized, suitable for 0 gauge or 1 gauge.
